who needs folder lock anymore ? trick for making folder or file password protected

hi friends now it is easy to make a folder or file password protected.you don't need to buy a folder lock .You can encrypt it by using WinRAR.
1.Install winRAR(while installing don't forget to click select all)

2.Go to the Window where is the file/folder are
3.In that same window do these steps.
Right click - new - winRAR archive or winRAR Zip archive.(for gigantic files it is better to use winRAR archive)
4.Double Click on the winRAR archive.

5.next step is to drag the file or folder  into to the new winRAR archive.rar.when you drag the file to it Archive Name and Parameters window appears.

6.click Advanced

7. Click Set password

you can check what password have you typed by selecting Show password ,untick it after viewing the password .if you want you can also encrypt the file names by selecting Encrypt File names.Click ok twice.


8.Check It

Like this you can Encrypt anything you want pictures,videos,games....etc.when folder size increases it take some time to encrypt and decrypt.but its not a big deal.And it is always will be password protected.
